My rank is 107000 and I am from grneral category and I have EWS certificate as well. Can I get NIT with CSE branch.

Hi, since your AIR is 107000 as well as you have attached EWS certificate on registration time so most probably your EWS category rank will lie under 5K-15K. On this rank you can easily get at least normal NIT's with your favourable CSE branch. So I'm mentioning the NIT's in which you can get into. So here is the list;

• NIT, Patna
• NIT, Uttrakhand
• NIT, Agartala

No, for sure. A candidate with general rank under 10000 is only expected to get CSE. Even a EWS may hardly get a CSE beyong jee 2000 category rank.  You don't have chances for even getting any of seat in NITs or IIITs or CFTIs. As you are a general category student and have secured 107000 rank in jee mains , then sorry you will not get any nits or iiits. For getting a seat in any nits your general rank must be roughly under 30000. And for computer science and engineering branch in any nit your rank must be under 4000 or 5000 from general category. Even with your ews category your can not get a seat in any nits in any good branch apart green cse.

So, there is no chance that you can get computer science and engineering in any nit during josaa all rounds counseling.
Also you have a very negligible or no chance of getting cse branch in any nits during csab counseling.

So, better you try at some other state colleges lr private institutions like kalinga institute of industrial technology or cv raman global university as many low rankers can easily get admission in these private colleges.
