Before making a final decision there are various points to be noted down. Firstly, you are going to invest a huge amount in your education, so returns should be at least favourable for you in terms of good placement until you decide to go for higher studies. Secondly, how's the campus and faculty of the college. Thirdly,  court experiences and events through which you can enhance your grip over the subject and one help's you in improving your personality too in many ways. Lastly, internships matter a lot during your break times, as it gives you real view of working. So, you need to do that also from right place and add it to your resume.
Mostly, at the end all the efforts lies from your side. Whether you want to work towards them or not.

Gujarat National Law University is a ranked above Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University. To clarify your doubt, you can visit the website of both the colleges and go through it. Also, you can search them on social media platform as every college has one page there. So, from there you can get a glimpse of college life also.
I know you want to be close to your home and it's your native place, I understand hesitation when you are moving from your home. But that cannot be the sole basis of taking any decision.
