My rank is 2212 in jam 2020 in the physics stream and i am in genrel categeory. What are the chances of me getting nits or iits, and what nits should i apply for?

The closing ranks for IITs and NITs may vary every year.According to IIT JAM 2019 the closing ranks for Physics in general category in IITs is below 1000. You can check out the link below for details on the closing ranks in IIT : https://jam.iitk.ac.in/doc/JAM2019_cutoffRound3.pdf
The closing ranks for some NITs are given below :
NIT Agartala - 1456
NIT Hamirpur - 1288
NIT Jalandhar - 1255
NIT Jamshedpur - 1355
These are the closing ranks after round 3.The closing ranks are below 1500 in most NITs .It is difficult to get admission in IITs or NITs with this rank.But you could apply in the above NITs ,the cut offs vary every year.
