It would have been appreciable if you would have told the Home State of eligibility and your category. As belonging from certain states does help you get a seat in NITs more easily.
Considering other state quota closing rank for every NITs in JoSAA rounds of counselling, your chances of getting any NIT with even a decent branch is very low. Still, if you belong to certain states like NorthEast states, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, etc you might get some branches in those NITs, you would definitely want to check closing ranks of those NITs and your Home State NITs.
