Hello Tannu, no, you won't be able to secure a seat in IHM Delhi given your rank is 7971. IHM Delhi 2018 cutoff for general candidates opened at 1 and closed at 425. I don't think you'll be able to make it. I suggest you apply to IHM Guwahati or IHM Shimla as there closing ranks in 2018 were 8678 $ 8715 respectively.

There are several other colleges too. I suggest you check the cutoff list yourself to get a better picture of where you can apply.
