Your son may have general rank in range of
(100-98.84)*8.69 lakh/100= 10100. But, if number of students appearing in april increses to any number suppose to 12 lakh than 8.69 will be repalced by 12 lakh and rank will crosspond to 14000. For more exact rank prediction check this link
