my son has got 99.62%percentile ,whether he is eligible for iit advance ?

Hell sir,
Surely he will qualify JEE main and can appear for JEE advanced.Although the official cut off is not yet announced but a percentile of 85 or above will give a candidate a good chances to qualify JEE main.He can prepare for JEE adavnced.
And his expected rank will be around 3302.Expected rank can be calculated by using the formula (100-total percentile)*869010/100
Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.In April session it is expected that 1200000 candidates are going to appear so the expected rank can be calculated as (100-total percentile)*1200000/100.
