    If your annual income exceeds Rs. 15 lakhs and is solely from salary, it is typically not included in the calculation for the Rs. 8 lakh OBC-NCL threshold. Only non-salary income such as from business or property is considered for this limit, so you may be eligible for an OBC-NCL Certificate. Obtaining this certificate will provide you with benefits such as reserved seats and fee concessions during the admission process. Make sure to submit documentation that your parents' non salary income is below the specified limit.
