Hello Dear,
if your son secured 70 marks then its depends upon the category. if you belong to general category then your son doesn't have chances to get government college.so pls choose private institutions for your child.some colleges are - VIT, SRM, Chandigarh University, LPU etc.
if your category is OBC then chances are there to get any GFTIs/IIITs in Homestate.
for SC/ST category - chances are high to get a seat into NITs/IIITs etc.
