My UPSEE rank is 8856 can I get JSSATE in 4th or spot round counselling (CSE/IT/ECE) ?

The closing rank of CSE for general category students in JSSATE last year was around 4k.

The closing rank of IT for general category students in JSSATE last year was around 5k.

The closing rank of ECE for general category students in JSSATE last year was around 7k-8k

Looking at the stats above, it would be difficult for you to get CSE or IT at JSSATE. Your chances of getting ECE is okayish. Cutoffs tend to fall drastically in spot round. You should apply for spot round.

The cut off for JSS ATE Noida Branch campus through UPSEE 2018 was as follows for General Category:

• B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering - 3134
• B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering - 10262
• B.Tech Information Technology - 4693
• B.Tech. ECE 7570
• B.Tech. EE 9549

So you have a high chance of getting admission in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
