My VITEEE rank is 11636. Can I get CSE branch in vellore or Chennai in category-1

I would say that Lovely Professional University is a great university which every students are looking for. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely professional university and currently he is working with Amazon with highest package.He has learnt a lot from LPU. Reviews are pretty good. LPU is helping him grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support.

According to your VITEEE rank, in vit vellore it is not possible to get cse or mech branch but in vit chennai definetely you will get one of these .

From my opinion  Take CSE at VIT Chennai Campus. There is absolutely no difference in terms of quality of education, campus life, etc. The only hardship you will face is at the time of placement you will have to travel to Vellore which is 3–4 hours away from Chennai, but the good news is the college provides a bus facility as well as accommodation facility at Vellore Campus for students from Chennai Campus visiting there.
