Need a suggestion.. I belong to OBC in Himachal but not on central list.. So is it possible that if I choose General now and during Himachal state counselling I opt for OBC

I am guessing that your question is in regarding with Neet examination.

As per neet information brochure 2021 those who belong to OBC category at state level but are not in the centre list need to select general as their category while filling the Neet application form.

But yes,

While filling the form of state counselling you can definitely choose OBC as your category because while filling the state application form there are categories on the basis of that state only and as you belong to OBC in your state you can definitely choose OBC but 15% all India counselling you are not eligible for OBC category, in that you'll have to choose general as your category.
