Hi rahil ,
As ews quota is newly implemented so its difficult for us to make sure of the closing cutoff for any branch in nits and iiits .
But Information technology is one of the core branches so it has high closing cutoff for the candidates to get admission even under ews category.
One need to get atleast a rank of 10k under ews category to get admission into any prestigious college of engineering like nits or iiits with IT branch.

Soja kl maine dekha j&k k nit ka 16k hua male ka cutoff ore women ka 24k it branch ka ore CSE branch ka hua hai 12k to tjhe kch ptah he nhi rply mt kia kr

Toh bhai tu jammu nd kashmir ka nit lekar konsa tir mar lega isliye 10k bataya maine kyunki dhang ke nit or iiit main teko 10k rank ke niche kuch nhi milta aur tu soya nhi hota tha naa 2 saal toh yeh ques nhi puch raha hota tha .
