As the cut off is expected to increase this year as well because paper was way too easy and students have scored a lot.

The last AIR for which medical college seat was given to a general category student was around 10000-10500.

With your marks and rank, you will not be able to get any government medical college through AIQ seat counselling.

You can opt for deemed universities and central universities if you are considering those options.

As far as state quota is considered, there also it is highly unlikely of you getting any government medical college being a general category student. But you can opt for all different private medical colleges of your domicile state as well as other states.

I will recommend you to sit for Karnataka state counselling for private medical colleges because the fee structure there is low and kind of affordable. The education is also great.

If you wish to register go to kea.kar.nic.in and register. Registration will begin on 23rd June from 10:00 am in the morning till 10:00 pm in the night.

You only have one day to do the registration, so be quick.
