I hope you are doing well, usually HBTU prefer to take students based on jee main rank it has a slightly more weightage. The only advantage of reservations are the cut off.. lower the Reservation you come from slightly lower is the cut off for the same. That's 1 of the advantage of being a student from reserved category...
