First of all cover your B.Sc. syllabus well in detail. Then you must have a good command over core topics like Biochemistry, cell biology, Ecology and Evolution and genetics. Some other important topics you must focus on are Biophysics, Microbiology, Cell biology, Molecular biology and Immunology. You will have an added advantage if you get a grip over topics like Human physiology, Environment and ecology, and Plant physiology. You must also practice questions related to probability. Past years question papers or sample papers are also important.
