one of my friend has only year of birth in her adhaar is there any problem for filling neet application

Yes, there will be a problem so please ask your friend to update the information in her Aadhar.

‘Date of Birth’ is a very important information in the context of NEET application form. Candidates born on or before May 7, 1993, and on or after January 1, 2002 will not be eligible to apply. If your friend is not from the states of J&K, Assam or Meghalaya, then her Aadhar will most definitely be used to authenticate all the personal information she enters in the NEET application form including name, gender and exact date of birth.

In this case, it is important the Aadhar has full and correct date of birth on it.

Ask her to submit a correction request at her nearest Aadhar centre. She will be allotted a 14 digit Aadhar Enrollment ID/UR No. printed on a slip issued by the Aadhar centre after her request is submitted.

Now, in the application form, there is the field for ‘Identification Type’. Here, she should opt for the ‘Aadhar Enrollment Number’ option. In the next field, where the ‘Aadhar Identification Number’ is asked, enter the 14 digit number allotted to her on the correction slip.

This will enable her to submit her application successfully and ensure that her full date of birth is submitted.
