One of my friends wants to go for environmental sustainable architecture and a second degree in fine arts. He's mainly looking for universities abroad but wants indian ones for backup too. Any suggestions? And what exams are to be given any other courses he can see?
Hello Student,
It's great that your friend is already thinking about a specialized field like Environmental Sustainable Architecture. This area has strong future potential due to the growing focus on green buildings and sustainable design.
For studies abroad, universities in countries such as the UK, USA, Netherlands, Australia, and Canada offer excellent architecture and sustainability programs. As backup options in India, institutes like SPA Delhi, CEPT University, NITs, and IIT Roorkee are worth considering.
For B.Arch admission in India, exams such as NATA and JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch) are commonly accepted. If your friend is also interested in Fine Arts, they can explore courses like Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, or Sustainable Design.
My suggestion would be to keep both Indian and international applications ready. Having a backup plan reduces stress and gives more options later.
Wishing your friend the very best for an exciting creative career a head!
