Parents domicile can be applicable for the state quota in counselling in NEET exam ?

Hello Aspirant,
For NEET counselling you need YOUR OWN domicile certificate . This you need for the 85% state quota.Your parents domicile is NOT APPLICABLE
If you don't have your own domicile then you can make it now as it would take 10 to 12 days to make a domicile certificate through government. Counselling starts after NEET results are out. Inorder to be in the counselling process you need to do 2 steps
1st: apply online
2nd: go for verification of doccuments at the given place .
When you apply for counselling online after the NEET results you need to submit a photocopy of your domicile at that time along with other mentioned documents . In case if your domicile certificate is not yet ready and you have started the procedure of making the domicile certificate then you get a slip. You can upload that slip while applying for your NEET counselling. And then when you go for verification of documents then show your certificate if it is ready or else if it is not yet ready then you can show the slip. But your DOMICILE CERTIFICATE should be READY AT THE TIME OF TAKING ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE WHICH YOU GET.

But I asked from the person who cracked the neet exam they said it will work..they will not put any objections?

You dont need domicile certificate for appearing in the exam but you need it during the counselling process, and also during admission process. If you apply by All India Quota which is 15% then you don't need it but if you apply by state quota which is 85% then its compulsory. Hope this answers your question.

If your domicile is not ready at the time of counselling then your parents domicile can work maybe. But you need your own during admission to the college. So it's better if you have your own. At the time of counselling and the admissions there's a lot of huslte bustle going on so it's better to be ready with everything at the first place so that you won't face any difficulties. During counselling it would work if you don't have your own domicile. But its better to have it ready to avoid any problems . Thank you. All the best
