my friend passed class 10 cbse this year but with a lower percentage so he wants to gove improvement exam in same year. so my question is in how many subjects he can appear for improvement in same year and he will get one combined consolidated marksheet or different 142 subject

Hey there,

If you passed CBSE Class 12 in 2025 and missed the improvement-exam window, CBSE's rule is quite clear: Class XII improvement is normally allowed only in the main examination of the succeeding year. So you generally cannot wait until 2027 (your 2nd year of college) and take a regular CBSE improvement exam
