Hello Aspirant,
You percentage in diploma will matter at the time of your placement as well as at the time of appearing for any government job examination like SSC JE for diploma holders.It will also be consider if you will appear for Lateral entry examination or JEE mains, you cannot get any college through jee mains but if you will qualify mains you can appear for jee advance and if you must have 75% in you diploma for getting admission in IITs.
