Question: Is it possible to quit from NDA ?
Ans: If I have to answer it precisely then it is very tough to leave after joining NDA.
After joining NDA when training will start you will have 15 days of trial period, in that tenure you can leave the job. But after that it will be very tough for a person if he has not very strong financial background. Because according to the rule, you have to pay back all the training facilities you were provided by the government in form of money.
Here is an example, let's say a person is leaving thee job after 3 years of training, the this is how much he has to pay back.
- Money spent on a cadet every week at NDA is around 10k.
- One year has 52 weeks , let's take 50 weeks excluding the vacations
- 3 yrs equal to 150 weeks
- 150 X 10k = 15, 00, 000.
- Which means almost 15 lac rupees.
So , if you have to give almost 15 lac rupees to defence ministry of India and you can leave NDA .
