Please share feedback on the UGEE program of IIIT Hyderabad. How is the course, standard, placement etc.

HelloIndian Institue of Information Technology, Hyderabad is one of the most reputed institutes in the country. It provides many dual degree programmes - 1. B Tech and Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering by Research (Five Year long course)2. B Tech and Master of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering by Research (Five-Year-Long course)3. B.Tech in Computer Science and Master of Science in Computational Natural Sciences by Research (5 year Dual Degree)The courses available are up to the mark and very standardised. The integrated programs are structured in such a way that the core subjects are well learnt and the students are then allowed to specialize in particular areas. The courses available also include laboratory component as well as a practical computational aspect. The course is high in research and development aspect. The third year students have to indulge in research and most likely have to write a thesis in the fifth year. The process of admission is that firstly there would be an exam. The students who clear this exam will have to clear the personal interview and then based on their performance, they will be either selected or not. The UGEE exam is to get admission in such dual program courses. The test includes of two parts : section one focuses on subject proficiency which includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths of Eleventh and Twelfth Standard. Section two focuses upon research aptitude test which also includes the same syllabus but here the questions are more focused on evaluating your critical and creative thinking. This is a fully computer based exam. This exam is not very tough to cracka dn one can clear this eam if one starts preparing for it beforehand. Overall, this is a good institute to pursue the dual course. IIIT Hyderabad has a high placement rate. Many companies have their own tests but the companies offer high packages with additional perks. Almost all the students are placed.
