8K rank is too much to get a college through JoSAA. It will be better if you keep other options at hand. One option can be applying for CSAB special round counselling which takes after JoSAA. You might get a seat there through your rank. Although, CSAB allocates seat throught common merit list, and you should check if you have any chance by looking at the opening/closing ranks at this link:
