I believe you can be considered as Domicile if you have done your last two years in the same state where you wish to apply to.
Domicile certificate would definitely help but for the same, you need to stay for atleast 10 years in the same state or city to get the domicile certificate.
Also Domicile certificate helps in reducing fees as outside the state students usually have to pay more.
I feel you will be considered with the domicile category.
