Query regarding CENTRAL OBC CERTIFICATE. I was born in STATE A and later my family migrated to STATE B(20 years ago). I am OBC(central list) in my birth state A and not in state B. From which state should I get my obc certificate. what should be my "ordinarily resident" place in obc certificate?
Hello Aspirant,
According to rules, the specified authority of the State/U.T. Administration from which you migrated may hand out the OBC Certificate to an individual who has left to another State on the generation of a legal statement handed out to his/her father by the specified administration of the State of his father's birth except where the specified administration realizes that a comprehensive investigation is essential through the State of origin before the issue of the document.
- The Certificate will be issued irrespective of whether the OBC candidate in the topic is comprised in the list of OBC in the state to which the person has migrated.
- The OBC person on migration from the State/U.T. of his origin to another State/U.T. where his caste is not in the OBC list is allowed the privileges/advantages acceptable to the OBCs from the State of his birth but not from the State where he has migrated.
- The establishment does not change the OBC status of the person in connection to the other State/U.T.
I hope it helps. Thank you.
