By re result, do you mean the result of your state counselling?
Any how, your AIR (All India Rank) will remain the same even after your state announces the result for state counselling. What will change is your state rank (combined and category) as it becomes easy to conduct counselling in a simplified and streamlined manner. For example if your AIR is 3,00,000 and your state rank is 3000. If your state has 5000 seats in your category, you will most probably get a seat.
