sc qualification for iit mains & advance
Hi,
admission to various undergraduate programs in IITs is given on the basis of jee advance marks.
To appear for jee advance one requirers to qualify the jee main exam.
Tye eligibility to appear jee main exam is 10 +2 pass from a recognized board.
The eligibility to apply for jee advance is that candidate should score minimum percentile/score prescribed by nta in jee mains to appear in jee mains exam. The cutoff will be released category wise.
To take admission in iit the minimum percentage of marks required by sc category candidate is 65%.

Your query isn't clear.To get admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board.Candidates belonging to general category must have passed with 75% marks and for SC/ST it is 65% marks.Now to qualify in JEE Main and JEE Advanced you need score the minimum cut off marks.The cut for 2020 will be released once the exam is concluded.In 2019 the cut off for JEE main for SC category was 54.012 percentile and for JEE Advanced it was 17.5 overall marks and 5 marks in each individual subjects.Cut off may increase or decrease in 2020.Just scoring the cut off marks will not give you the NIT and branch of your choice you need to score 95 or above percentile to have decent chances of getting a seat.

The eligibility criteria for JEE Mains is to have completed class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ technical vocational subject.There is no specific criteria to be satisfied for SC candidates. The candidates who score marks above the cut off marks in JEE Mains are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.The candidates should also secure a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 to be eligible for JEE Advanced.For SC/ST/PWD candidates the minimum marks is 65%.In 2019 the cut off score for JEE Mains for SC candidates was 54.01. The cut off ranks for admission to various IITs varies every year.You have to score ranks below the cut off rank prescribed by each IIT to get admission in that particular IIT.
