should I get into NIT my rank is 39170 in the OBCNCL category my home state is andhra pradesh

If the mentioned rank is your OBC-NCL rank then it is difficult to get seat with such rank in NITs as well as IIITs. Even under home state category it is difficult to get seat in NIT, Andhra Pradesh. The cut off in 2019 for OBC-NCL under home state category was as follows

• Civil: 9175
• Chemical: 10554
• Biotechnology: 13333
• CSE: 5365
• ECE: 6035
• Mechanical: 7672
• MME: 12168
• EE: 7784

CUt off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease slightly depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available.
