should i take ece or cse as i want to pursue for a govt. job by preparing for govt. exams and also for defence exams?

Hi Aditya,

Hope you are doing great. Choice of subject should always depend on what motivates you more as that always turns out to be fruitful in the long run. However, in terms of job opportunities CSE, takes the lead.

All that said, if you're someone who is targeting PSU's (Govt jobs as you said), then ECE might be a better option as certain exams like IES (Indian Engineering Services) are restricted to Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and ECE.
