From you question what we understand is that you already got your admission confirmation from Bangalore, but you rather be in Mumbai!
The best way is to visit the Mumbai campus and truly understand your chances of getting admitted and if it is only a slight chance then, take what you got to avoid being stranded.
We understand that it is the same institute having many campuses and if so, your name will be removed from the waiting list.
