As you are a general category candidate, with 259 marks, it is going to be difficult to get a seat in BAMS private colleges and even next to impossible in government colleges. As in the year 2018, the cutoff for general category was 400+ marks for government BAMS colleges and this year's cutoff are going to be even higher as per trends observed in counselling procedures, so government BAMS seat is not for you. For private BAMS colleges, the cutoffs generally remaina a minumum of 350 marks, so your chances are less there also.

I am sorry to tell you but with a score of 259 in NEET UG 2018, I don't think you will be able to get any govedngove or private college for BAMS. I think you should drop a year and appear in the examination again next year. I hope this information was helpful!
