Sir I am from kerala and I have qualified jam 2020 with a rank 1236. can i expect admission in iits??

Hi there,
Since your rank is 1236 in jam, then you have no chance of getting any IITs if you belong to general Or obc category. As the last rank of any IIT WAS 480.
But if you belong to st category then you may get biotechnology, chemistry of geophysics in IITS.
