MBA and Post graduate diploma (PGDM) in hotel management, both are good options to pursue your career in hotel management.

The difference between both the courses is that, MBA is a degree recognized and offered by a University or University's affiliated colleges, which offfers course structure as per University's guidelines. Whereas PGDM is not affiliated to any University so it has it's own course structure as per the industry changes. However, for PGDM check if the PGDM of college is AICTE approved.

Since, you are pursuing B.Com i would suggests you to enter into a field based on what you are studying.You are studying about accounts and finance then why you want to go for hotel management? which has very less scope as compared to a MBA degree. You will find yourself in wrong direction. So, better start preparing for CAT and do MBA from a good college.There are wide range if options in MBA too like Marketing,Sales,HR,finance etc.
