Dear Vivek you get some government college through your rank like Bankura engineering college, Asansol engineering college,Netaji Subhash engineering college, Government engineering college. These colleges you can get as per the previous year cut off list.

You can go for the following colleges at this rank:

• IEM
• Heritage
• Techno India

you can get CSE at Techno and any branch at IEM except CSE & ECE. Also you can get all the branches at Heritage except CSE.

You can’t get into government colleges of West Bengal as you are not a resident of West Bengal.

NOTE: A piece of advice. In case you are a fresher i would suggest you to drop a year and prepare again. I’m sure if you drop and prepare well you can get into top 2000 and get a seat at Jadavpur University next year. This would be far better than getting into any private institute. (I also din’t score well in the 1st attempt and in the next made it to JU )

Hi ! You can get numerous government and private institutions with your rank. The government colleges will include coochbehar government college and Purulia government college along with ceramic. Private institutions may include Heritage institute of technology, academy of technology, St. Thomas , techno India, IEM, uem, Narula, neotia and many others. Streams is of your choice.
