Hi,
493 may fall short for a government college this year. You haven't mentioned the category so I am going to answer for a UR Category. This year we are seeing a good margin in ranking and scores. Many students have same scores but have different ranking. But nothing can be said with 100% authority right now. You may or may not get a government college. It will depend on your ranking. For now wait for the counseling to begin and see what comes in hand with this score.
