No, you are not eligible for admission in NIT because your 12th board percentage can`t get you admission in NITs and IITs. You have to qualify JEE Main with good marks to get admission in NITs.

Sorry to say but you Will not eligible for NITs, but you can apply in government college of state and private institutions in your city. 80%  is good marks you can also apply for Defence forces via TES entry if you are interested to serve you nation.

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but if you fail to qualify jee mains examination, then you cannot get admission is NITs

This is because to be eligible for NITs and to take admission in NITs it's compulsory to qualify jee mains examination.

So, if you want to get into NITs then you need to work hard and qualify jee mains examination , there's no option other than qualifying jee mains examination if getting into NITs is your aim.
