The course of B.tech Electronics and Communication Engineering at Graphic Era University is approved by AICTE, that is, All India Council for Technical Education. Apart from that the above course is also recognized by the NBA, National Board of Accrediation. The department of ECE has been in existence since 2002 and is a flagship program at the university.

The placements are quite good here. It depends on your potential, and there will be a group discussion round, a written test of your language and logic, and an interview. The highest package offered was Rs. 5.75 lacs per annum and the lowest was Rs. 2.5 lacs per annum. Mainly, you sit for IT companies. The college is in partnership with Tata, and now Tata labs are on the campus.
