SIR, I m expecting 90.59%ile in CAT (source code). I hv 69.68 %ile in VARC and 90+ in other two. Please suggest collgs considering VARC %ile

Thanks for approaching us. It is good that you are expecting a percentile above 90. However, I would suggest you check the CAT 2018 result which would be released tomorrow, i.e. January 5 at 1 PM to ascertain your score.

Now, this is to inform you that some colleges do not consider sectional percentiles; they take admission based on the overall score of CAT 2018, WAT/GD/PI scores and academic records. Some institutes, however, consider sectional percentiles.

Colleges which will accept 85 percentile in CAT 2018 are -

Your percentile is good enough to qualify in top Cat accepting colleges of the country. Yet you will miss the IIMs and about top 30 colleges because of the VARC sectional percentile.

Yet you can apply to the following list of colleges which are really good for MBA/PGDM in India.

Focus more on Tapmi Manipal, Great lakes Chennai, IITs KJSom and GIM. But apply for all of them for both pessimistic and optimistic approaches.
