Hi Esakki,
I understand that you aspire to research in the field of agriculture someday and you are currently pursuing B.Sc Agriculture from a private college that is affiliated to TNAU. So here are some colleges that are deemed to be prominent colleges for pursuing masters and PhD in the field of Agriculture and in which you should be able to take admission with your Bachelor's degree:
- Indian Agricultural Research Institute(IARI), New Delhi: IARI is one of the best colleges of India for agricultural research and education.
Eligibility- Candidates need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture.
Intake Exam- The institute conducts separate entrance examination for admission into its M.Sc and PhD studies in Agriculture.
- Tamil Nadu Agricultural University: The University offers M.Sc and PhD studies in the discipline of Agriculture and admission is done based on the results of an entrance examination that is conducted by the University itself. Candidates need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture to be able to appear for the entrance Exam.
- Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur: This is also a prominent college and offers M.Sc and PhD studies in the discipline of Agriculture. Admission is done through entrance test that is conducted by the university.
- Punjab Agricultural University: Another prominent agricultural university which offers M.Sc in Agriculture. Admission is done through an entrance exam called MET that is conducted by the university followed by an interview.
- Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapith- Admission is done through MCAER-PG-CET scores which is an entrance exam conducted by the university for admission into Master's course of Agriculture.
- Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar: Admission into M.Sc Agriculture course is done through GBPUAT scores which is an entrance exam conducted by the university itself.
BEST WISHES!
