There are various opportunities after completing BSc Chemistry. First of all, if you're still interested in academics, you can follow the traditional route and go for Master's Degree. Afterwards, you can qualify for SET/NET for lecturership. There are various entrance exams for higher studies such as CSIR NET, UGC NET, TIFR,IIT JAM etc  . In case of teaching in school, BEd in compulsory.

In terms of government job opportuntities, you can apply for UPSC Civil Service, State PSCs, SSC or banking exams like RBI,SBI, IBPS,NABARD etc or insurance exams like LIC,GIC,NIACL etc.
