CMAT is a National level postgraduate programme for Management programme. CMAT scores are required for the admission to around 500 AICTE approved B-schools including University departments, constituent colleges, and management institutions across India. Around 65,000 candidates take the test. Until 2018, it was administered by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) annually as per the regulations of MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India.
