You should first check with some lawyer that whether you are eligible for Central OBC or not. If you are eligible there, then file for the central OBC certificate. You will get it in approx 4 weeks.

However, if you are just OBC under your state then you can use that for admission in colleges under the state quota.

However, if there are no available state quota seats, you will be considered general in your state also.

Dear Kajal, yes you can avail the benefit of OBC category under STATE COUNSELLING if you have category certificate of OBC. You just have to provide the category certificate during the document verification of the alloted college.

If you apply under ALL INDIA QUOTA then you will be considered under GEN CATEGORY.
