    Dear Pratik Singh,

    PCI or pharmacy council of India looks after all the pharmacy related matters in India. So they conduct the diploma in pharmacy in most of the colleges. Now there are many colleges that offer a diploma in pharmacy but recently PCI have given instructions to not allow any new colleges affording the same anymore.

    Dear Pratik, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is the official registering/affiliating body for pharmacy colleges in India. All pharmacy colleges offering Diploma courses will have to register and be recognized by the PCI in order to admit students. However the PCI does not conduct any exam or course of its own. Also, the admission procedure for the Diploma in Pharmacy courses vary state to state and are not conducted by the PCI. Hope this helps!
