hello,
a rank of 340 in general i.e. unreserved category is not very far away from the eligibility criteria of the rank. It is advisable for you to wait for the call letter from Banaras Hindu University itself to be sent to you in the inbox of the email id that you have put in the application form. You might have a chance in the second or third round of counselling.
