There will be two papers, both of which has to be attempted.

• Paper I (3 hours in total)

• Paper II (3 hours in total)

• Paper I – 125 Questions (Mathematics)

• Paper II – Physics (75 Questions), Chemistry (50 Questions)

Exam pattern for CUSAT CAT is as follows:

• Exam will have 125 questions on mathematics for a total of 375 marks and time duration will be 120 minutes.

• 75 questions of Physics for a total of 225 marks  and Chemistry has 50 questions for a total of 150 marks. time duration will be 120 minutes for both Physics and Chemistry.

This sums up to a total of 250 questions for a total of 750 marks and total time duration of 240 minutes.

Marking scheme-

For each correct response, 3 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt.

Objective Multiple Choice Questions Based on 10+2 syllabus will be asked in the examination.
