Sir/Madam Now csab has released the tentative seat allotment.. In that category is given as open (in few courses) so can a SC or ST candidates can go for that or else SC /st can go through only their respective category????? Plz reply me....

Hi.
SC/ST candidates have a reservation not a constriction in seat allotment process. That means that an SC/ST candidate will be first given a seat reserved for them, however, if they do not get that seat then if their rank allows then according to their CRL Rank they are allotted a seat from the Open Category .
Miraculously, converse is not true because no candidate from Open Category can contest on the reserved seats a the name suggest the seat are 'reserved'.
