Sir,I'm getting 551 in neet 2019 will I get a seat through state quota in jharkhand.pls let me know as there are lot of people scoring 600+.

Dear Shivani, 551 is a very good score. In 2017 under State Quota, 532 marks secured a seat in Patliputra Medical College. This was the cut off. 539 marks secured a seat in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College. These were the marks that secured seats in General Category.  It is also true that many students who found the exam to be easy are scoring 600 and above. So with General Category it is a close call. But for Reserved Categories with that score, it is a sure shot. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So it is something we can only know once the official Answer key has been released. So we would suggest  you to wait until the official Answer key has been released to weigh in your options.
