so my crl rank is 229000-230000 in jee mains , i have the caterogy of obc ncl , in what collages can i possibly get the branch as cse or ai ml.. if you have any idea please help me out

With a CRL rank around 2.29–2.30 lakh , the most important thing is your OBC-NCL category rank . The colleges you can get vary a lot depending on whether your OBC rank is 30k, 50k, 70k, etc.

Based on previous counselling trends, getting CSE or AI/ML in top NITs, IIITs, or DTU/NSUT is unlikely at this CRL rank. However, you may still have opportunities in:

• Newer or lower-demand IIITs (depending on your OBC rank)
• Some GFTIs
• State government colleges through home-state quotas
• Private universities that accept JEE Main scores

Some institutions and categories of colleges worth exploring include:

• IIIT Dharwad (lower-demand branches may be more realistic than CSE)
• IIIT Bhagalpur
• Assam University
• Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology
• Lovely Professional University
• Chandigarh University
• Amity University

For CSE/AI-ML specifically , your best chances are often:

1. State counselling (if your state has reservation benefits).
2. CSAB special rounds after JoSAA.
