The predefined eligibility criteria for CLAT is mentioned below.
- Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination/12th board Examination from any recognised educational institution.
- Candidates need to score at least 45%marks in the qualifying degree to appear in CLAT. For candidates belonging to SC and ST categories need to score at least 40% marks in aggregate of subjects.
- As per the Supreme Court of India, there is no age limit for a candidate to sit in CLAT for undergraduate or postgraduate programmes.
- The candidate can apply for the national entrance test for law as many times as they want. There is no restrictions on the no. of attempts.
Prime eligibility is clearance of Class 12th.
